Congratulations to Martin Lilley for winning the Howard Smith Memorial Trophy with a splendid 42 points. You may remember that earlier this year Martin won the club’s Howard Smith Memorial so a fantastic double for him.

I am also very pleased to announce that a total of £220 for raised for charity, £180 from the sweep and £40 from Owen Carney from the £5-ers. Thank you to everyone for their generosity.

In the Summer Eclectic, Del North improved by 1 shot to close in on Dan Langan. And in the League, Norman Morgan’s 36 points improved his average to 34.67 and tied with Dave Humphrey at the top.

Sunday was also the August Medal and Mick Francis won with a nett 68 with Martin Lilley in second place. Well done to you both.
